Reversible….. Part 1

Hello Everyone!

Good News is “My Blog FIMP has crossed 200 followers today”… yay! Another small milestone but worthy of mention 😊

Thanks to each and every follower for helping me reach this milestone 😊

Today’s Post is about my latest buy from an upmarket Rajouri Garden in Delhi, India. The TitleΒ is aptly named Reversible…. because this Top can be actually worn both the sides…isn’t that such a great use of a single cloth. Here’s the 1st LookΒ of this Top which I wore for a day outing with a friend.

Look 1

LookΒ 1

Its a simple floral Top, easy going for a day wear, quite a relaxed look (which is perfect when you are out in such scorching heat!).

Instead of opting the Top with Β Black Pants or Denims, I wanted to add some fun element to this Top. So here its paired with a striking Red Jeggings which are again very comfy for its stretchable cotton fabric.

Also played with accessories with this look….and kept all the accessories White which I guess beautifully contrasted with the dark shades of the outfit with a Pearl White Neckpiece… white pearl bracelet (pic below) and white purse….

Hope you liked the idea of the Reversible Top…. and liked its styling by me ☺…. look out for this space for the 2nd look by this same Top but with other side…… coming up soon on my Blog.

Enjoy the read 😊😊 And Thanks so much for stopping byπŸ‘

It’s a Frill Thing

Hello Everyone!

The above pic is deep memory line almost 3 years back….. its a Frill/Layered Saree worn as a Lehenga at a family function.

Its a chiffon light weight, easy to drape…. such summery colors and what a style…had never seen any such frill or layered saree till then.

So, instantly I just bought it and was really a topic of conversation among my friends for lonngggg and nobody believed me that its a Saree πŸ˜‰πŸ˜

Last week, I went for another family function and being so scorching heat, I thought to wear this Saree again… and keeping in mind the occasion, I wore it as a Saree.

The best part of this saree is that it can be worn as a saree or as a lehenga and really saves time in draping (as it doesn’t have pleats). And summery color top up with concept design, it can never go out of fashion….

What say??? Liked this cool, breezy and stylish Saree?? Do drop in by to share your views…

Happy Weekend! 😊☺☺😊

High-Low Coral

Yay! May is here and am super excited for it! Its a month of lots of celebrations in the family…. I was actually looking forward to this month for quite some time now.😊😊

Oh! I couldn’t post anything last week as I was busy with some family celebrations and couldn’t get the chance to post anything…though I was super active on my Instagram ☺☺

Today’s Post is one such outfit from the last week celebrations….

Coral is one of my favourite color and High Low Trend is back this summer with a bang!

I loved this Coral Asymmetrical Kurti/Tunic with Golden Patches on neckline. Its a georgette kurti/tunic and loved pairing it with Golden Cigarette Pants… am so off by Palazzo trend that now I look for other options to team up my kurtis. And really liked the way these Pants looked with this Kurti. Keeping the look more Indian, I also opted for a Golden Net Dupatta/Stole.

Since it was an Indian get together, I couldn’t miss adding bling to this outfit. Accessorised the look with Traditional tassel Earcuff and whole lot of bangles and Golden Handcuff.

The outfit turned out really pretty (more than I had thought)… and hope you liked the outfit as much I do..

Hope you all have a great May month….. stay blessed!

oh that pink πŸŽ€

Hello Everyone!

Today’s Post is not about any Trend but about just this Pink Jegging that I now hold from past 5 yrs and never thought it would be so versatile & be used in so many ways.

The above Outfit is a Casual Floral Print Kurta/Blouse which I paired with Pink Jegging and it instantly popped up the simple Top.

Other than the above outfit, This Pink Jegging has been styled with almost every kinda outfit you can think of.

I am still in love with this Pink Jegging just like a new piece 😊 and am sure would be styling it in many more outfits to come.

Hope you liked the versatile styling of this Pink Jegging and let me know if you have any such unconventional versatile bottom to style with so many outfits.

Hope you are having a great week… stay stylish!

Black & Blue….

Good to write for you all after quite a long time! But really didn’t dressup to show you my outfit styles in weeks gone by..but yesterday when I went out for Dinner, I loved my outfit and wanted to share with you all.

Its actually an Asymmetrical Top (see in 1st pic)… with Blue Bodice and Black Trail. It has a modern biker feel with a zipper design on the bodice.

Paired this Black & Blue Top with Black Tights. Actually 1st I teamed the Top with Blue Tights but it didn’t have much impact as it break down the look in to colors. So pairing with Black Tights gave it a more rocking look with full black look till bottom (it also helped me look taller πŸ˜‰πŸ˜€).

I love my Blue Shoes which are these (in above pics) Blue Closed Ballies with Wedge heels. Love to pair them with all my Blue tone outfits ☺.

And for the accessorising the look, just wore a very old Pendant which is still my favourite… Heart design with flowers…. interesting!

Hope you guys are having a fun weekend….do pour in your views about the outfit…

Stay Blessed!

On a Shopping Spree: April

Hello Everyone!

Today’s Post is my Favourite Section of my Blog …. sharing my monthly shopping stuff I hop on every month.

It’s just mid-April and have already got a lot of chunky jewellery which are all street buys and each below Rs. 200 (below 4$ approx.)

Here’s few of the neckpieces I got for amazing bargains (thanks to District Center, Janak Puri, Delhi)….

Golden Neckpiece with Blue Stones

Metallic Owl Pendant

Black & Gold Neckpiece

Red Spike Neclace

Trendy Earrings bought this month….

Aqua Ear Drops

Feather Earrings

Ear Cuffs

If you think, its too much buy for a single month and must be too heavy on pockets…think again….because all the neckpieces together comes for a single High End Statement Neckpiece price….yes!! You read it right 😊😊

If you are looking to buy some fashion jewellery, FIMP would make these recommendations:

πŸ‘ Try buying from local Flea Markets or Haats. You will definitely get best bargains and lots of options.

πŸ‘ I checked the prices of lots of fashion jewellery available in small shops with the price at which they are available online. Its (Online buy) a Big No for me, as there’s a Huge Difference in price, though the quality is exactly same.

πŸ‘ While picking the Fashion Jewellery from local market, make sure you check the quality before buying (though we cant be 100% sure of quality from online store either!)

πŸ‘ Don’t spend hefty amounts on Fashion Jewellery for 1. The Trends changes real quickly Β & 2. They usually get deteriorated with time (specially if they are metal based).

πŸ‘ Great places to buy Fashion Jewellery in Delhi (India) are Janpath, Delhi Haat (all locations), Chandni Chowk to name a few.

Hope you found this Post helpful in making choices for your fashion jewellery…would love to know your take on Street Style Jewellery and would you prefer local markets or Online Purchase for Jewellery.

Am pretty excited to wear these pieces with my outfits on blog πŸ˜€πŸ˜€.. do watch this space in the coming weeks for the jewellery styling…

Till then, just be in Fashion!

Add Some Bling!

Hello Everyone!

We girls are so crazy about dressing up… looking great and always being in fashion…. don’t we?? πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜‰ But aside from Dressing up, one add-on we love in our outft is Accessorising it.

So Today’s Post is about Accessorizing…. and my favourite add on to any outfit is a beautiful pair of Earrings. Β People will 1st notice your face and the pretty earrings add sparkle to your beautiful face…and you know what…your photos covers your oufit less but earrings will definitely be a part of your every pic. β˜ΊπŸ˜‰

Earrings can add the necessary bling needed to any outfit ,be it any Party Gown or just a casual Denim shirt but no look is complete without the bling of Earrings.

I am so much into hogging the earrings and have a pair to match every outfit that I have…they come in such gorgeous colors, designs, metal… just can’t have enough of them. Earrings goes well with any outfit be it Indian or a Western one.

Glam up your Western Dresses/Gowns/Maxi and all, with these Australian Diamond Earrings. Go for Long Dropdowns or Round Danglers or Pretty Studs… choose any style to pep up your Outfit.

The Trends these days are Diamond look like Long Drop Earrings with WesternΒ Outfits though the small Studs also add lot of sparkle to your outfit.

We Indians love dressing up and adding much bling to our outfits. The 1st thing we love accessorising our outfit is with a pair of earrings…. Go for EthnicΒ Earrings in Polki or Kundan or Gold Plated, and match your outfits with these gorgeous Earrings.

The triendiest earrings these days are the ChandbaalisΒ  & Jhumkis in different styles. They really add Indian Touch to your looks.

Color Chalk for Hair??

Hello Everyone!!

We all love styling our hair as much as we love styling our clothes, accessories and looks. Many people love color hair streaks (or even full hair color) but are hesitant to try it..may be because its too expensive, fear of side effects or getting too bored by the same color as its permanent.

But, here’s the solution for all those who want to color their hair …. not just once but even every other day and that too harmless, cheap and easy to use…its the Hair Color Chalk! Sounds Weird?? But no, its actually a product in the market which can give instant color to your hair!!

How does it works/Steps to use Hair Color Chalk:

Yes, Hair Color Chalk is really fun and better than permanent hair color…..

πŸ‘ Hair Color Chalk is non-toxic and doesn’t have any side effects to hair.

πŸ‘ Its easy to use and can be removed by just washing in shampoo.

πŸ‘ Much cheaper than Permanent Hair Color

πŸ‘ Can try different colors and are instant so saves from montony of permanent hair color.

πŸ‘‰ Β If you’re blonde, do not wet the hair before chalking unless you want the color to stay in longer.

πŸ‘‰ Wear protective clothing when applying and sleep on an old pillow case as the color will transfer.

πŸ‘‰ Don’t try this near the water/beach or on a rainy day.

Some Hair Chalk Color looks to try…

Color Chalks for hair are available across the globe in stores and online on Amazon, Bodyshop, etc. But make sure to buy only the best known brands and Must read the reviews before buying the products.

Guys, do share your experience with Hair Color Chalk…. would love to share with all….

Wish you all a great Weekend! 😊😊😊
